So, we begin work on the second year of the project. The project team feel we achieved a great deal in the last year and the good progress report outcome from Erasmus reflects this.
This year (2019-20), concentrates around the security process moving forward, which will be crucial for the individual institutional pilots and will allow the project partners to follow the same process and guidelines.
Also, the development of the AR resources, both general and institutional specific, which the learners will use for the pilot and beyond. The project has already made good progress with the production of a series of Mental Health resources that have been introduced to learners at HMP Hewell here in the UK and sure that they will be of great benefit in both Romania and Belgium.
The Project plan has been updated to reflect the highlighted priorities for this year.
The resources the project propose to complete and work on this year include:
Mental Health Awareness Information
Maths resources (including supporting qualifications of GCSE)
English resources (reading and writing skills)
Employability skills and information (including CV creation, interview techniques)
Knife crime
Prison Advice
Prison Safety
This is shaping up to be the most challenging with regards to the security process and lock down of devices, but confident in the outcomes and ultimate benefits for the learners who will make use of the devices and the resources.
