With the recent news of the closure of HMP Hewell, who have been the pilot institution for the UK project work, we are very happy to have secured two further prisons to be involved in the pilot and use of the AR resources for the young offender learners. HMP Swinfen Hall and HMP Featherstone are very happy to be involved with the project. Swinfen Hall has young offender learners, which is needed for the project, but Featherstone is a mainstream prison and feel this will add great value and a wider remit to the project as a whole and the use of the resources, with the added value this will bring to the learners. SCG and HMPPS will be visiting both institutions in the next couple of weeks to give a presentation of the project to their specific senior leadership teams.
